About the Club
Since 1971
Our passion for the cars and our unique experience has brought us all together to share what we love. As a group we have a collection that ranges from the original C1 Corvette to the most modern high tech C8 Corvette, and we love to show them off. We are Western Canada's second oldest club among the 25 member clubs. "I've never seen a Corvette I didn't like" is our motto! All car generations are welcome. We pride ourselves with the diversity our club has to offer. Gear heads to novices are welcome!
More Than Just Cars
As a non-profit organization, the club also raises funds by means of our Annual Awards Banquet fundraiser for our charity of choice, The Dream Factory. We also provide Christmas hampers and on occasion we will donate time, money or bring our cars out to other causes.
Volunteers Make All The Difference
The Club consists of elected executive officers, appointed officers and a general membership, all governed with by-laws. An Annual General Meeting in January is dedicated to the election to the Club Executive. The elected offices are President, Vice President, Past President, Treasurer, Secretary, Newsletter Editor, Fifth Director and Sixth Director. Appointed officers include: Apparel, Communications, Competition, Manitoba Association of Auto Clubs (MAAC) Representative and Canadian Council of Corvette Clubs Representative. Other working committees are appointed as required.
Sponsorship Helps
The official sponsor of our Club is Murray Chevrolet. They provide the club with an annual donation to help us fund activities. Murray Chevrolet also provides members with a discount arrangement for parts and services.
Activities
The club will host a number of events throughout the entire year. As expected the focus would be in the spring, summer and fall months.
